The proposed amendments are primarily administrative and aim to provide greater clarity for our families. They include:

• Nursery Age Range: Updated wording to further clarify the specific age requirements for Nursery enrolment
• Administrative Titles: The removal of a specific "named position" within the policy.

RECEPTION 2026/2027

NURSERY 2026/2027

We will soon be accepting applications for our Nursery for September 2026.  To apply for our Nursery, your children need to have turned three years old between 1st September 2025 and 31st August 2026.

The application window for our Nursery closes on 2nd April 2026.  Offers will then begin to be sent out from 1st May. 

The options for Nursery hours are as follows: 

Mon, Tues, Weds AM (1st half of the week)

Weds PM, Thurs, Fri (2nd half of the week)

Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri (full time)

Our Nursery year begins in September and follows the same school dates as years Reception-6.  Most of our Nursery children then go on to apply to enter our Reception classes the following year.  Applications for Reception must be made via the Bristol City Council website.
