Welcome to the Friends of West Town Lane Academy! 

The Friends of WTLA Commitee are delighted you have found us. We are five parents, whose have children at the school. 

We love to create fun and memorable experiences for our students and support the school in providing extras to enrich our children's school experience.

Every parent and carer is automatically a member of the group, but by getting involved can make a huge difference.  And there is something for everyone and the time that they can commit. 

• Help with a Tuck shop for 30 minutes. 

• Help contact businesses for raffle prizes. 

• Bag sweets for events. 

• Become a class representative 

• Help come up with new ideas at meetings

• Putting up posters….

• There is something for everyone!

This year we funded:

• Fruity Friday

• £600 contribution to leavers hoodies

• £500 per year group towards trips

• Book for every child at Christmas

• Explorer dome visit for reception-y6 lasses

• Pond refurburbishment

• Sanitary product cupboard

• Little City visit (nursery)

• Living eggs (nursery)

Total £8016.24

Past funded projects

• Mosaic benches in rear playground.

• The outdoor classroom and shelter on the field.

• The wonderful new ‘Ninja Trail Adventure Playground’ installed in the summer of 2016.
